Amalindis, the first-born of the two royal twins, is dutiful and agrees to marry Prince Tanka. Zottelhaube, on the other hand, the second-born, does not feel connected to her nobility, but to the great outdoors and a wolf - and lives in the forest. The witches see this as a prerequisite for the eldest of them being able to rejuvenate herself in order to survive: she will slip into the body of Amalindis for the next solar eclipse! "Zottel" suspects that time is running out before this transformation. Reluctant to go with Tanka, who is determined to accompany her, she sets off on the dangerous journey to rescue her sister. She has no idea that she, of all people, will fall in love in the process. And she has no idea that it will soon be in question who is actually the first-born and therefore the one with powerful witchy abilities.

The Spring

Archeologists Andy and Matty uncover a diary written by a member of Ponce de Leon's search party that provides clues to the location of the Fountain of Youth. They go to Florida to search for the site but find themselves hounded by a slimy businessman out to profit from the spring and a voodoo acolyte searching for eternal life. Andy's search for clues brings him into contact with local painter Dyanne, who seems to know more about the spring than she is revealing.

A Daughter Of Destiny

Hanns Heinz Ewers' grim science-fiction novel Alraune has already been filmed twice when this version was assembled in 1928. In another of his "mad doctor" roles, Paul Wegener plays Professor Brinken, sociopathic scientist who combines the genes of an executed murderer with those of a prostitute. The result is a beautiful young woman named Alraune (Brigitte Helm), who is incapable of feeling any real emotions -- least of all guilt or regret. Upon attaining adulthood, Alraune sets about to seduce and destroy every male who crosses her path. Ultimately, Professor Brinken is hoist on his own petard when he falls hopelessly in love with Alraune himself. Alraune was remade in 1930, with Brigitte Helm repeating her role, and again in 1951, with Hildegarde Knef as the "heroine" and Erich von Stroheim as her misguided mentor.

Hasil Adkins: The Wild World of Hasil Adkins

Short subject documentary by Julien Nitzberg about the legendary "psychobilly" musician and infamous wild man Hasil Adkins. Filming takes place in Adkins' own yard, his shack, and at various concerts. Adkins is notable for helping create an entirely new form of rock/rockabilly/country fusion, which he plays entirely by himself (with a guitar and drums simultaneously).
