The film tells the story of a former convict who rises to fame. Orhan, who was imprisoned for murder, goes to Istanbul after serving his sentence. There, he spends some time looking for work. One night, he meets a prostitute named Mehtap at a nightclub. Mehtap swindles Orhan out of all his money. However, the two meet again some time later and grow closer. Meanwhile, Orhan begins to make a name for himself with his compositions. He achieves fame with his first record. However, his blood feud and the intrigues of the music industry continue to haunt him.
