Online media editor Ho Ka Yan is ordered to approach the athletics club to find some dirt on them. It's there that she becomes acquainted with running coach Yuen Lik. Due to past regrets, Yuen Lik avoids forming personal relationships with others but gradually grows closer to Ho Ka Yan because of their interactions. Kwok Wong Po's daughter Kwok Pui Yee has taken the initiative to join the club for her own reasons while her dad comes to sponsor the club. Yuen Lik's good friend Lai Shun Fan has entrusted his son to Yuen Lik. It is also revealed that Shun Fan and Ka Yan have a past. At a time when Shun Fan is on the verge of giving up due to his illness, Yuen Lik becomes determined to help his friend get back on his feet. The anime tells the story of Musashi, a young practitioner of electro-sword and his "gundoh", a martial art involving the use of guns. This show deals with Musashi's battles against a group of monsters called "Ayakashi" and his quest to win the love of the beautiful princess Kaguyahime.

However, life in the village is not so straightforward: Soyon is also an Ariyo, a woman of the Mist People - a race that is feared by humans for its mystical abilities. So that she and Erin can stay in the village, Soyon must flawlessly fulfill her duty capturing and disciplining the Touda; but while Erin wants nothing more than to become a beastinarian, she also feels sorry for the Touda and recognizes that there’s far more to them than meets the eye. Can Erin ever become an ordinary beastinarian when her deepest instincts tell her there is a better way to interact with the Touda?
