These tiny adventurers use their smarts to track down rare and endangered artifacts in legendary locales across the globe. In each quest, the three friends tackle adventurous challenges and sort out their own foibles to work as a team.

The Animals of Farthing Wood is an animated series created by the European Broadcasting Union between 1992 and 1995 and based on the series of books written by Colin Dann. It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Germany and the United Kingdom, in January 1993.

The Phoenix and the Carpet is a six-part British miniseries based on E. Nesbit's 1904 fantasy novel of the same name. Produced by HIT Entertainment for BBC One, it aired from 16 November to 21 December 1997. Four Edwardian children find a strange egg in their newly-arrived Persian carpet. It hatches into a Phoenix bird that grants wishes and also transforms the rug into a magic carpet, which takes them on a series of adventures all over the world and at home.
