His children, Geoff, Valerie and Jimmy visit to watch the latest rocket launch, along with journalist Conway Henderson. When the pilot takes ill, Jimmy finds himself taking his place on a mission to the Moon along with his pet hamster, Hamlet.

Far Out Space Nuts is a Sid and Marty Krofft children's television series that aired in 1975 for one season, and produced 15 episodes. It was one of only two Krofft series produced exclusively for CBS. Like most children's television shows of the era, Far Out Space Nuts contained a laugh track. Like most of the Kroffts' productions, the show's opening sequence provides the setup of its fanciful premise: While loading food into various compartments to prepare a rocket for an upcoming mission, Barney instructs Junior to hit the "lunch" button, but Junior mistakenly hits the "launch" button. The rocket blasts off and takes them on various misadventures on alien planets. The show starred Bob Denver as Junior, a seemingly dim-witted but uniquely clever maintenance worker employed by NASA, and Chuck McCann as Barney, his grumpy, short-tempered co-worker. Patty Maloney played Honk, their furry friend who made horn sounds instead of speaking.

When his video game prowess is discovered by the International Network of Excel-Science and Technology — or I.N.E.T. — high school student Kenta Date is brought in to lend his expertise to their mysterious research. Meanwhile, four classmates show up, wanting to know more about the I.N.E.T. facility. Their experience will change their lives forever, as I.N.E.T. survives an attack by the nefarious Dr. Hinelar and an army from another dimension determined to conquer our reality! Now, it's up to Kenta and his four classmates to "install Megaranger" and become the team of heroes their video games prepared them to be!

Zim dreams of greatness. Unfortunately, though, he's hopelessly inept as a space invader. Desperate to be rid of the annoying Zim, his planet's leaders send him on a mission to infiltrate Earth, providing him with leftover, cobbled-together equipment. To their consternation, Zim succeeds in setting up a base on Earth and infiltrating human culture, posing as a human child as he plots the planet's downfall. Only Zim's archnemesis, Dib, recognizes that Zim is an alien, and of course, nobody believes Dib's claims.
