In DR3’s new reportage series, we follow three strong young women who defy prejudice and shame and set their sexual desires free. Here it is Inger, Asmita and Sofie who "take and give" as the most natural. They refuse to degrade female sexuality into something that should be overlooked, suppressed, or felt wrong. We open the door to the most intimate of their lives and experience all that is not normally said out loud. For Inger, Asmita and Sofie insist that it should be possible to have an open sex life as a woman in 2021 without being labeled "cheap".

This series exploration of Egyptian and Roman sexual practice allows viewers the opportunity to see how attitudes and beliefs about sexuality functioned in the early civilizations, and how those attitudes reveal the unspoken rules that defined public and private behavior. Episodes cover human sex and sexuality from a historical perspective, and examines in detail different texts and images which provide us with evidence about sexual practices, beliefs and ideologies in the ancient world – from erotica on pots to legal texts, phallic votive objects, fertility ceremonies, prostitution, female and hermaphroditic creator deities, from religious rituals to sex manuals.

Carnal Knowledge was a short-lived British television game show relating to sex. It was shown very late at night, in accordance with its explicit subject matter. It was one of only a handful of shows to transfer from Channel 4 (where the pilot edition was shown as part of a sex-themed weekend) to ITV. Each edition featured two different couples being asked personal questions by Maria McErlane about their sex lives. Graham Norton acted as the assistant. One of his roles was keeping the scores.
